Best dining experiences in Dubai

One of the main benefits living in a cosmopolitan city like New York, London or … Dubai is a privilege of having tasted multiple cuisines. At any given moment of the day. Although the focus of this article is not any available cuisine, rather the most impressive one. You can imagine trying food in all these places was quite an indulgence, so without any further ado, let me jump into introducing you to them.

  • Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Picture dimmed lights, leather booths and a mechanical Pineapple in the center of the restaurant, that opens every now and then. All of this and more is Dinner, one of the most progressive, shockingly delicious and extravagant modern English restaurants, inspired by the recipes from 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th Besides, of course, a high-end service and a spectacular wine list.

  • Sushi Samba. A blend deserving a round of standing ovation: Japanese elements mixed with Brazilian and Peruvian both on the plate and in its cultural presentation. The freshest ingredients, the most breathtaking view and the hottest music motives throughout you dinning experience.

  • Mimi Kakushi. The authentic Japanese cuisine with a western influence. Cold or hot sharing plates of sashimi, sushi, tempura or gyoza? They have it all. Black cod and Kagoshima wagyu beef. I mean, you name it. Plus, the extensive menu of sophisticated cocktails. Never missing the hit.

  • Dream. Bread and circuses, anyone? Well, that’s exactly what Dream can offer you. Spectacular performance and a decadent dinner: scallops with caviar, snails or oysters for a starter, cote de boeuf and wagyu tomahawk for a main course with classic crème brûlée as a dessert to sweeten your already miraculous evening.

  • Clay. A Japanese- Peruvian culinary experience. Something undiscovered yet very familiar. That’s how the place describes its philosophy itself. A delicate meet rebellious on the plate and creates something new. And a view of an EYE Dubai makes the whole picture of the restaurant look even better.

  • L’Amo Bistro del Mare. A tribute to the Italian coast, this place brings you the pleasure of experiencing a majestic view of Dubai Harbor, while enjoying a crisp glass of rose along with your spaghetti cacio&pepe. If you can think of a better way to enjoy your sunny afternoon, please, do tell. Until then it’s my firm belief that it’s ultimately best turn of events.

Delicious meal in the restaurant

To lighten up your gastronomical discoveries, let me introduce you to a few gorgeous beach restaurants and lounges.

  • Tamoka. This beachside dining destination brings you the combination of class, joy and culinary revelations. Their kitchen embraces ice and fire to deliver the best ceviches, meat dishes and specialty seafood. And their Caribbean rum infused cocktails make you feel like you’re getting this unforgettable Latin American vibe.

  • The Beach Bar & Grill by Mauro Colagreco. Luxurious service, stunning view and a menu packed with multiple choices of South American starters and main courses create an illusion of having a Sunday lunch in a café in Argentina.

  • The Byron Bathers Club. Seafood oriented, beach and pool type of scenery, this place is strongly inspired by an Australian surf culture. Divided between three different concepts: oyster bar, a bistro and a beach, the place offers everything for everyone.

Dubai is full surprises once you know where to look for them. But I hope this little food guide brought the light to this journey. Stay tuned for further discoveries and subscribe for the updates.
